Congratulations!  You are applying to an International Organization with 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs around the world!  Our motto is "Service Above Self."  Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under that motto - "Service Above Self".

When applying for a membership in the Worland Rotary Club, there are several requirements to be considered to become a member of the Worland Chapter of Rotary International:

1)  There are required dues of $60/quarter (every three months) that are split between Rotary International (RI) and our club to cover overhead and donate to the causes of RI.

2)  We also pay for our meals for every luncheon currently $10.00/meal.  You do not need to pay at the door this charge will be added to your quarterly statement.  You will be billed whether you show up to the meeting or not unless you are on a leave of absence.

3)  Our biggest fund raiser is our annual Mammoth Quick Draw.  We ask that every member participate in some facet of that fund raiser:  selling ads, helping set up or take down, working with the artists, bartending, and buffet line help etc.

4)  We realize no one can make every meeting, but attendance at our Wednesday noon meetings is strongly encouraged, as we have to turn in our overall attendance to the District every month and we shoot for at least 70% attendance.  It's important to gather as often as we can to build friendship in the club.  Also, if you sign up to join any other committees and are meeting outside of our Wednesday noon meeting for any other Rotary business, these external meetings count towards your attendance, so it's easy to make up missed meetings.
